We are very proud of the technology we have at Franklin Elementary! Presently we have 126 PC desktops, 20 wireless laptops, document cameras in every classroom, projectors in every classroom, 8 printers (2 color), 3 digital cameras, 2 video cameras, 2 smartboards, whiteboards in all classrooms, one set of classroom clickers, one NComputing station, and all teachers have access to “United Streaming”. With that said, we want to continue to prepare our students for the 21^st Century! This will require visionary thinking from staff, administration, and community. Our “wish list” includes additional wireless labs, more flat screen monitors, headsets that can be used to record voice and communicate with classrooms around the world, mounted projectors in every classroom, NComputing in every classroom, webcams, and more classroom clickers. These are lofty goals, but we believe our students and staff should be equipped for a technology driven world. If you want to know how you can help please contact me at nheimbigner@lps.k12.co.us
